Looking Ahead to 2019

It’s hard to write at this time of year without reflecting on the year that was. But not impossible! But I’m not going to resist… Are we all looking forward to 2019? Hahaha. Christmas is over and done, and it’s that wonderful week in between Christmas and New Year’s where you don’t really know what the day is… I just assumed it was Sunday. Everyday. A week of beautiful, long Sundays filled with friends, family and food!
Thank you to all who made Christmas a great day. I know that for many families, it is not this way at this time of year. I know it is hard for many at this time of year. So sending you all a hug!
This year has been a big one, a good one, full of learning. This year I’ve had to become a learner all over again, and it feels like I’m on my L-plates… Which is okay! If only we are L-platers in something at all stages of our lives. To learn new things, and put ourselves way out of of comfort zone and confront our fears… that is a good aspiration. Even if we cannot confront our fears, at least to discover and become aware of what they are. To become self-reflective and contemplative and conciously aware of our patterns and our bodily selves here as we stand.
So yes, a year of learning! To anyone I’ve met this past year – thank you for all your help and all the times we have spent together – I appreciate all in my life for all your uniqueness. I’m still reflecting on 2018, and not yet sure where 2019 will take me. Uncertainty and cross-roads! We meet again! I’m ‘looking forward to 2019’ but can’t see how it will all unfold just yet. Still a bit more reflection to do.
Merry Christmas, Happy Holy Days, and a Happy, Blessed, and Safe New Year to you all!
Xxx Kelsey
