Once upon a time, there was a little bird, Wren. She liked to wag her tail, She loved to dance for them.

One day a magpie swooped her, and he took all of her jazz! She soon found herself wandering forest floor, lonely, without pizazz.

Wren wandered long, she wandered far – yet never did she let Other birds give her scars.

For Wren she had her own to carry, Though she was slight and small. The scars she carried told old, old stories, Ancient stories of rise and fall.

One day she found her life was no longer Earthly bound – She found herself up in the trees, with leaves aplenty, rustling all around.

Her heart sparked with joy, and she shook out her feathers – She sang, she flew, she lived up high, And left behind old mean magpie, altogether.
